Further Maths, Further Maths AS or IB Higher Level

If you are preparing to start on the Further Mathematics or IB Higher Level courses in September, please complete the following questions:

Preparation for Further Maths or IB Higher Level

This is a pre-course handbook which you should be familiar and comfortable with.

You can collect answers from the Maths Office on Results day: please bring your work with you if you would like the answers.

Single Maths or IB Standard Level and Maths Studies Standard Level

If you are preparing to start on any of these courses in September, you may have been asked to complete an alpha workbook of questions over the summer. In this case, the alpha workbook will have been sent to you by post.

However, even if you have not been asked, you may wish to complete this work in order to start sixth form maths on a really good footing. In this case, you can purchase an alpha workbook here.

You should bring this work with you when you get to your classes in September: your teachers will be able to help with anything you need.
